protect Your Smile

Brush your teeth for two minutes twice a day. Brushing cleans away food particles and bacteria that can decay your teeth and cause cavities. Remember to clean your teeth before going to bed and once again when you wake up. It will keep your smile beautiful!

Flossing is a great way to remove plaque to help prevent tartar buildup. Flossing will help lose and remove any particles that were missed when brushing. Removing plaque from your teeth will help protect your teeth from cavities, tooth decay, and gum disease.

Watch out for soft drinks. The acid in soda and diet soda can eat away at enamel and create cavities or leave stains on the tooth surface. After drinking a sugary drink or acidic beverage, rinse your mouth with a glass of water. Better yet, immediately brush your teeth!

Meet Dr. Waters

Dr. Tracy Waters, is a native of NC and has been in the triangle area for 30+ years. He received his degree from the UNC School of Dentistry and has been practicing since 2001. He is a member of the NC Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, The American Dental Association and the Raleigh/Wake County Dental Society. Dr. Waters also maintains an active affiliation with the UNC School of Dentistry as an adjunct professor.

Dr. Waters loves dentistry because he is passionate about healthy, beautiful smiles. There is nothing he enjoys seeing more than a healthy smile on someone’s face. He loves working with people, but as a father of three, he has a special place in his heart for children. Dr. Waters recognizes that children can’t always control their situation, and pediatric dentistry provides him with the opportunity to help children have the confidence to smile.
